Who is Tan Mei?
This tea brick is produced by Tan Mei, the former deputy director of Kunming Tea Factory, senior engineer, and chief of the quality inspection department, responsible for production and processing. This tea brick inherits the essence of the original Kunming Tea Factory 7581 tea brick. The pu-erh tea is of excellent quality, and exquisitely made. After long-term storage and aging in professional tea warehouses, the raw, astringent, bitter, and other flavors gradually become aged aromas.
“谭梅” Tan Mei graduated from Anhui Agricultural University in 1982, majoring in tea making. She studied under Wu Qiying, the founder of Pu-erh tea fermentation technology and the former director of Kunming Tea Factory. She was engaged in and responsible for Puer tea production and processing, quality inspection, and technical improvement. Teacher Tan Mei has been engaged in Pu-erh tea fermentation and production for 40 years and is also a participant in the research and development of the classic Puerh ripe tea 7581. She was awarded the title of "National Tea Master of Tea Making" by the China Tea Circulation Association.
