2023 Organic Chinese Yunnan High Mountain Moonlight Silver Needle White Tea Loose Tea Leaf Cold Brew Tea

The White Needle sourced by our Teahouse goes through a delicate picking process. The selection of leaves is rigorous. It includes exclusively the shoots with a single bud or the finest parts of the shoots with one bud and one or two leaves. The finished tea leaves are firm and straight, hairy and pale white. The brew is clear with a mild tint of yellow. It comes with a refreshing fragrance of honey.

Yunnan Moonlight White gets its name from its curved, moon-like buds, sourced from the Yunnan Province in China. This tea has been picked from old tea trees in Jinggu Yunnan which is around 100 years old. It has a smooth, creamy texture and a clean, refreshing flavor. 

Our Yunnan Moonlight White is suitable for aging and the flavor will shift over the coming months and years and become darker and closer in taste to a sweet black tea.

Origin: Jinggu county, Puerh city, Yunnan province, China

Tea Soup: Exquisite and delicate, the tea produces a very pale yellow brew and has a fresh, sweet fragrance. After brewing several times, the floral aroma changes and the aroma is charming.

Tea shape: This particular Chinese white tea holds a very graceful form. The leaves are even, strong, straight, and full with fine white hairs. 

Taste Features: The aroma is unique, with floral and fruity aromas, and the taste is mellow after entering the mouth, with a long aftertaste, which makes people have endless aftertaste.

What are the Yunnan white tea health benefits?

Brewing suggestions:

Tea-to-water ratio: 1:30                                                                                          Recommended utensils: Gaiwan/teapot
First to fourth brewing: use 90°C(194℉)  water, pour water along the wall of the Gaiwan at fixed points, wait for 15 seconds, and then pour out the tea soup.
After the fourth brewing: pour water along the wall of the Gaiwan at fixed points, wait 20 seconds, and then pour out the tea soup.
