Tea is an integral part of Chinese culture, and Liu An Gua Pian is one of the most unique and treasured teas in China. This tea is grown in the mountains of Anhui province and is known for its distinctive flavor and aroma. Liu An Gua Pian is a green tea that is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, and it is known for its flat, oval-shaped leaves that resemble a melon seed.

Liu An Gua Pian has a long and rich history that dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). It was originally produced in the mountains of Anhui province, and it was known as "Melon Seed Tea" because of its unique shape. The tea was highly prized by the Tang Dynasty emperors, and it was often given as a gift to foreign dignitaries. Over the centuries, Liu An Gua Pian has become one of the most famous teas in China, and it is now enjoyed by tea lovers all over the world.

The best Gua Pian is even picked during Gu Yu, the rainy season in late April, to ensure that the mature leaves have had time to grow to the desired size.                                  And our Lu'an Guapian is the tea picked before the Grain Rain season, which is more mature and nutritious.
